Titans activate CB Kristian Fulton from IR, place WR Julio Jones on IR

The activation of cornerback Kristian Fulton from injured reserve and the placement of receiver Julio Jones on injured reserve highlighted the roster moves made by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday.

The secondary is getting help but the Titans offense will need to overcome the loss of another playmaker.

Fulton will be eligible to play for the first time since suffering an injury on Oct. 10. He’s missed the last four games but could return to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Fulton, a second-round pick in 2020 who started the first five games at cornerback, has six pass breakups and an interception this season.

Jones is still trying to get over a lingering hamstring injury. He’s already missed three games with the injury, and he will have to miss at least three games while on injured reserve. Over six games in 2021, Jones has 21 catches for 336 yards and zero touchdowns.

Jones joins All-Pro running back Derrick Henry on injured reserve.

The Titans also signed receiver Dez Fitzpatrick to the active roster from the practice squad and elevated linebacker Dylan Cole and defensive lineman Kyle Peko to the gameday roster from the practice squad. Safety Dane Cruikshank was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.

The Titans will attempt to improve to 8-2 when the Saints arrive in Tennessee on Sunday.
