Following the conclusion of the Full Gear 2021 go-home edition of Rampage on TNT, a post-show segment was held where a major NJPW talent was teased to be coming to AEW.
In a dark segment held after the show went off the air, Tony Khan spoke with Orange Cassidy and The Best Friends in front of the live crowd in Minneapolis, MN.
There was a tease from the AEW President about NJPW’s CHAOS faction being involved as backup for “The Freshly Squeezed One” the next time he has issues with “Big Money” Matt Hardy and The Hardy Family Office.
The belief is that Khan is referring to Kazuchika Okada, a NJPW legend who is currently a member of the aforementioned faction.
