The Phoenix Suns know nothing of unvaccinated players, unavailable talent, or the annoying fluctuation between having a three-headed monster…and a two-headed one. Across the country though, the title-favorited the Brooklyn Nets currently find themselves dealing with all those factors, as they continue to dismiss Kyrie Irving from the team until he complies with state health and safety codes.

Through it all though, the Nets still look fearsome. Kevin Durant continues to make anyone still refusing to call him the league’s best player look foolish, averaging 29.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game, while shooting a ridiculous 58. percent from the field.

James Harden struggled during the season’s first few games, rehabbing his hamstring and adjusting to the league’s new rules, but now looks back to his former self. In his past five games, he put up two triple-doubles, as well as a 39-point performance against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Brooklyn owns a 9-4 record, tied for the Eastern Conference’s top spot—which largely reflects the team’s unmatched talent from top to bottom.

The Nets undoubtedly still want Irving back as soon as possible. His return almost guarantees them a trip to the NBA Finals. But alas, that might never happen, and with the Nets surging even without their Uncle Drew, they might soon feel inclined to cut their losses and deal him.

Although the Suns possess no need for Irving with “Point God” Chris Paul running their offense, they can still throw themselves into trade talks, still taking a backseat, but helping to push a trade through while walking away with some minor upgrades of their own.

Operating as a middle man to unchain the Nets and help another team land Irving, the Suns can shake things up with these three trades.
