Jazz players fined for on-court altercation

NBA officials said three Utah Jazz players and one Indiana Pacers player have been fined for their roles in an on-court altercation from Thursday night's game.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert, forward Joe Ingles and guard Donovan Mitchell were fined along with Pacers center Myles Turner.

Gobert, who was seen pulling Turner to the floor which resulted in "his second technical foul of the game" and his ejection, was fined $35,000.

A press release said Turner was fined $25,000 for escalating the altercation "by shoving Gilbert, for which he was given a technical foul and was ejected."

Ingles and Mitchell were also fined for their involvement.

Ingles, who was assessed a technical foul and ejected, was fined $30,000 "for making inappropriate with a game official."

Mitchell also assessed a technical foul and was ejected. He was fined $20,000 for his involvement in the altercation which included "verbally taunting an opponent."

The incident occurred in Salt Lake City's Vivint Arena with almost 4 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of the game.

The Pacers won 111-100.
