Zach LaVine had his first stint for Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics. It was a learning experience for the Chicago Bulls guard, who's never been surrounded by such a constellation of the NBA's best players. As much as it was an eye-opener for LaVine, one of his teammates also realized something that probably hasn't dawned on the former slam dunk champion.

In an exclusive interview with Marcus Thompson II and Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic, Draymond Green raved about the Bulls scorer's talent.

“He’s one of those guys that’s extremely talented, extremely confident, but doesn’t really know how good he truly is, what he brings to the table. So it’s just trying to teach him that. You are the face of a franchise, bro. How do you be that? He’s never been on a team where anyone can really, truly teach him that. Or else he would’ve been that.”

LaVine is widely known as one of the hardest workers in the league. He's a gym rat. The numbers attest to his work ethic. From his days with the Minnesota Timberwolves to his current tenure with the Bulls, LaVine's scoring averages have increased year after year.

The Golden State Warriors forward has been around greatness, so Green is an authority when it comes to identifying superstar potential. The Bulls shooting guard hasn't reached that level yet. Even though he's regarded as one of the best at his position, there are plenty of things LaVine could still learn.

So far, the Bulls star appears to be the type who's never satisfied with his individual growth. It's a good sign for Chicago and a scary idea for the rest of the NBA.
