Former EastEnders star Thomas Law has opened up about his lasting friendship with Adam Woodyatt, 11 years after leaving the BBC soap.
While attending a fundraising event for Together For Short Lives, a UK-based charity for children's palliative care, the actor – who played Adam Woodyatt's onscreen son Peter Beale between 2006 and 2010 – was asked how life has been for him since he left Albert Square behind.
"It's nice. My family still watch [EastEnders]," he told OK! from the red carpet. "My mum and my sister chaperone the kids down there.

"I still keep in touch with Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale – one of the nicest guys. He's lovely, such a nice guy. He's now gone off to do a play recently and I'm excited for him to enjoy that. Yeah, EastEnders ticks along, everyone loves it."
Over the years, Peter Beale has been brought to life by two other actors: Ben Hardy, who has since gone on to appear in films such as X-Men: Apocalypse, 6 Underground and Bohemian Rhapsody, and Dayle Hudson, who joined the cast in 2020.

Since his stint came to an end, one of Law's most notable roles includes playing DC Eddie Martin in ITV crime series The Bay.
He's also a gifted musician and often posts his own renditions of popular songs, such as 'Loving You' by Paolo Nutini and Olivia Rodrigo's 'Drivers License' across social media. Law also runs a Cameo account, where fans can request personalised videos or covers of their choice.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
