Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story documents the life and success of the two-time Olympic title winner, her record-breaking career as a boxing champion and the adversity she has faced since her early life in Leeds.
In 2020, Nicola Adams made history by being part of the first same-sex couple on Strictly Come Dancing with her pro-dance partner Katya Jones, which was unfortunately cut short when Katya tested positive for COVID.
Combined with exclusive early footage of her career, in the film Nicola will discuss how she progressed in the sport of boxing. It will also explore her upbringing, the prejudices she faced as a female boxer, as well as her battles with racism and homophobia.
