Rafael Devers and Xander Bogaerts both were named 2021 Silver Slugger award winners.
It marks Devers’ first ever Silver Slugger award. Bogaerts won the award for the fourth time in his career.
Bogaerts became one of just five shortstops ever with four or more Silver Sluggers and one of just four players in Red Sox franchise history with four or more, according to Red Sox notes.
Barry Larkin (9), Cal Ripken Jr. (8), Alex Rodriguez (7) and Derek Jeter (5) are the other four shortstops to do it.
David Ortiz (7), Wade Boggs (6) and Manny Ramirez (6) are the three other players in franchise history with four of more.
Devers batted .279 with a .352 on-base percentage, .538 slugging percentage, .890 OPS, 38 homers, 37 doubles, one triple, 113 RBIs and 101 runs in 156 games (664 plate appearances).
Xander Bogaerts slashed .295/.370/.493/.863 with 23 homers, 34 doubles, one triple, 90 runs and 79 RBIs in 144 games (603 plate appearances).
