Which Carolina Panthers find themselves on the hot seat after an eventful first half of the 2021 season?

Things seem to be unraveling quickly for the Carolina Panthers after such an eyecatching start to the 2021 season. We are now officially at the midway stage and a deeply concerning run of one win in the last six games has many wondering if this current regime has what it takes to get the team back into true postseason contention.

It hasn’t been all bad. The Panthers have an explosive defense who’ve more than done their part, with the special teams play also progressing encouragingly thanks to the flawless kicking of Zane Gonzalez.

On offense, it’s a completely different story.

A complete disgrace when one considers the number of talented playmakers at Carolina’s disposal.

The worst part is, the Panthers might not have hit rock bottom yet. They visit the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10 and their run of games following the bye is extremely tough, so things could turn sour quickly unless significant adjustments aren’t made.

All the optimism surrounding this team after a 3-0 start has completely disintegrated. There is a growing disillusion within the fanbase, which is never a good sign and especially halfway through the season.

Without further ado, here are four Panthers on the hot seat after the 2021 midseason point.
