Old Main Frame Shop, Artist Tom Mosser Partner with Sue Paterno for Event Benefiting Lion’s Pantry

Old Main Frame Shop & Gallery will host a show this weekend featuring new work by artist Tom Mosser, who will be on hand along with Sue Paterno for a special event benefiting the Lion’s Pantry at Penn State.

“The Legendary Cuffed Pants & Black Shoes,” features Mosser’s art inspired by Penn State and late football coach Joe Paterno. The show will be on display with works available for purchase on Friday and Saturday.

Mosser, a Pittsburgh-based painter and muralist whose work appears in sports venues across the country, will be available to talk with customers and sign purchases from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the shop, located at 2766 W. College Ave., Suite 100.

Sue Paterno will sign and personalize Mosser art purchases during a meet-and-greet at 6 p.m. on Friday.

A percentage of every purchase made throughout the weekend will be donated to The Lion’s Pantry, a volunteer organization addressing food insecurity among Penn State students. All attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of nonperishable food or paper products. Monetary donations are also welcome.

In 2020, Paterno donated $50,000 to Lion’s Pantry as part of a larger gift to support Penn State students facing financial challenges amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
