Dayton underwent a procedure in September to clean up the AC joint in his left shoulder, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.
Dayton was let go by Atlanta on Saturday after missing most of the 2021 campaign with shoulder inflammation. However, the left-hander is expected to have a relatively normal offseason and should resume throwing in the coming weeks.
