Jared Leto, Salma Hayek, and Lady Gaga Went Appropriately Gucci for the House of Gucci Premiere
We expected nothing less, sweetie.
The stars delivered some very solid (and very Gucci) looks on the red carpet at the London premiere of House of Gucci, the Ridley Scott-directed, high-stakes fashion film that takes a deep dive into the history of, well, the house of Gucci. Gracing the red carpet at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square were Jared Leto, Adam Driver, Lady Gaga, Salma Hayek, and more—all of whom dressed in fits that didn’t disappoint.
Leto, for example, is one of Gucci’s brand ambassadors, a muse and doppelgänger of the brand’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, which is why we expected nothing less than a head-to-toe fit from the label. Gaga, a celeb who definitely likes themes, did the same in a purple pleated gown, which she accessorized with black platform boots. And Hayek wouldn’t be caught dead without a Gucci look, especially since her husband, François-Henri Pinault, is the chairman of Gucci’s parent company.
Adam Driver, an actor who seldom—if ever—piles on the flash, took a different route from his costars and wore a sleek two-piece suit by Burberry. He is also the face of the brand’s latest fragrance, so that made sense. Seemingly devoid of brand endorsements was Jeremy Irons, whose effortless fit looked like he picked it out of his closet.
Now that House of Gucci is set for November 24 release (and in theaters, too; remember those?), there’ll undoubtedly be a number of red-carpet events in the coming weeks. But since this is the first, and because the looks were so good, we just had to create a photo gallery for, you know, posterity.
Jared Leto
Understanding the assignment, of course, is Jared Leto, who wore a blue velvet suit with a shawl lapel by Gucci, which he accessorized with a silver minaudiere, white healed boots, and a diamond necklace.
Jeremy Irons
Jeremy Irons is one the most stylish gents in history—a sentiment he proves once again with a black topcoat, turtleneck, washed-down vest, and navy trousers (tucked into socks, no less). Not to outdone is the perfect pair of beat-'em-up boots.
Adam Driver
Keeping things streamlined is Adam Driver, who wore a notch-lapel suit by Burberry and lustrous black dress shoes.
Marc Jacques-Burton
On the opposite of the color spectrum from Leto is designer Marc Jacques-Burton, who wore the similar velvet suit, but this time in red.
Ozwald Boateng and Emilia Boateng
Fashion designer Ozwald Boateng dressed to impress in a patterned navy three-piece, which he accessorized with ombré boots.
Kevin Ulrich
The film's executive producer, Kevin Ulrich, followed Driver's example by wearing an unfussy two-piece.
Tega Alexander
Influencer Tega Alexander wore a signature turtleneck in white with a black suit, a very effective study in high-contrast dressing.
