San Francisco's legendary Regency Ballroom is on the market for the first time in 100 years.

According to KRON, the venue at 1300 Van Ness is listed for an undisclosed price.

Compass Commerical is presenting the sale as "A San Francisco Icon. Poised for Transformation."

Compass has also released promotional renderings to show how the venue will be reimagined. The visuals include add-on condos and a rooftop deck.

“The base building redevelopment can include private and public supper clubs, gyms and sports courts, swimming pool or ongoing office and entertainment venues*. However, the zoning allows construction above the roofline for additional uses including residential and medical office condos. Successfully designing and merging these new and redevelopment options will forge a fresh legacy for the future,” reads the listing.

According to KRON, the original owner of the Regency Center sold the property to the current owners, real estate professionals Scott Robertson and brothers David and Lee Banks.

The ballroom was first built in 1909 and since then has become a go-to for concert lovers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The plan for the future owners is to choose from developing residential or office space, a private club, or continuing to use it as a concert and event venue.

If it does sell, it's unclear when the new plans will go into effect. Their website also shows concerts scheduled until June 2022.
