Lewis Crocker retained his WBO European welterweight title after a destructive seventh round stoppage win over Artem Haroyan on Friday.

The two men fought on the Conlan Boxing event at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, with unbeaten Crocker (14-0, 8 KOs) producing a dominant performance, dropping Haroyan (17-3-1, 9 KOs) twice on his way to the knockout win.

It was equally as superb a win for Padraig McCrory, earning a blistering second round knockout win over Celso Neves to retain his WBC International Silver super-middleweight title.

McCrory (13-0, 7 KOs) knocked down Neves (8-2-1, 2 KOs) twice in round two, forcing the referee to jump in and wave off the contest, handing ‘The Hammer’ the impressive victory.

Elsewhere on the card, Sean McComb (13-1, 5 KOs) earned a points win over Ronnie Clark (21-6-2, 10 KOs), with the referee scoring it 79-74 in McComb’s favour after eight rounds.

James McGivern (4-0) defeated Rustem Fatkuhllin 60-54 on points after six rounds, while Paul Ryan (2-0, 1 KOs) picked up a rapid first round stoppage win over Damian Esquisabel, dropping his opponent twice on his way to the 47 second knockout win.
