COLUMBUS
Mary Lois Hacker, 82, of Columbus passed from this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 10:02 p.m. at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Hacker was born on April 19, 1939, in Seymour, Indiana the daughter of Orville Nentrup and Leona Ann Kruse Nentrup Altemeyer.
Mrs. Hacker had previously worked in the banking industry and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She had a tremendous love for reading and enjoyed doing so in her spare time.
Survivors include her children, Kimberly (Tim) Jones of Parish, Florida, Kurtis D. Lincoln of Florida, and Kent (Darbi) Hacker of Columbus; grandsons, Jeremy L. Johnson and Adam K. Jones both of Florida; and a sister, Norma (Jim) Darnell of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In keeping with Mrs. Hacker’s wishes cremation will take place and there are no services at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Mrs. Hacker to the American Heart Association.
