Minor league report: Penguins fall to Bruins, 6-2

Goaltender Filip Lindberg made 16 saves on 20 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 6-2 home loss to the Providence Bruins at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Friday.

Following the Bruins’ fourth goal, Lindberg was replaced by backup Louis Domingue who stopped 15 of the 16 shots he faced. Forwards Nathan Legare and Kyle Olson each scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (5-2-0-1).

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a road contest against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, 7 p.m.
