This week, Shape reported on a few health benefits of water that you might be seeking out this time of year. Registered dietitian Molly Kimball, RD, CSSD told the outlet that while some people's primary motivation to chug water is weight loss (saying yes, it plays a role), what many people don't realize is that water is also key for keeping energy levels up to help you active throughout your day.

And, Kimball noted, when you don't drink enough water, the effect of that will present as a common symptom: Fatigue. She noted that dehydration is one of the first things she looks for when clients tell her they feel tired or sluggish.
