Why is Justin Brannan in Puerto Rico?
The joke is on Bay Ridge.
The people who backed Brannan won’t tell you he is in Puerto Rico.
But we knew he would be there, even when he is trailing in the election.
Why didn’t Brannan share a message on social media that he was taking this trip?

I can’t understand why NYC politicians think it is necessary to travel for their position. There are plenty of people from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Islands here in New York that the politicians could speak to.

Is that Brannan’s wife on his left? If the old senator took a trip like this, she wouldn’t have thought this was a good idea. Whose paying for this trip?
Remember when Councilman Brannan couldn’t debate his opponent in Brooklyn because Brannan was afraid Covid-19 spreading?
We should have taken the debate to Puerto Rico because apparently Covid-19 doesn’t exist there. In Puerto Rico, groups of people can stand together and not wear masks (hey Tish James and Eric Gonzalez.)

We found one masked man in the pictures below, so there is at least one Democrat who believes Covid-19 exists and it could transferred indoors…even among people who are vaccinated.

Why is the NYS Comptroller at SOMOS? That’s not good.
The new NYC Comptroller, Brad Lander was also there. (See here) That’s also not good.
Tish James wanted to tell NY’ers that she was in Puerto because there are people who need aide in Puerto Rico. HELLO POLITICIANS – there are a lot of homeless people living on the streets of NYC, especially from the pandemic! No politicians should be in Puerto Rico talking about problems when there are so many families in NYC suffering. What entitled times we are living in!
Commissioner Shea told NYC that the courts were backed up with cases that needed to be heard. Why is District Attorney, Eric Gonzalez in Puerto Rico when the courts need him here?

He has noting to worry about. If he loses the election he will be supplied with a government job. Not like he’ll actually have to work for a living.

Why would the political leaders of NYC attend the annual conference of one of the largest non-partisan organizations to address the needs of latino peoples in NYC? Heaven forbid! Besides, we all know Bay Ridge doesn’t have any latino people at all.
Why would Justin go to the conference when there are votes still to be counted?!! Doesnt he know he must sit next to the absentee lock box for an entire week rather than doing absolutely anything else at all?
Why is no one wearing masks?!?! Its not like the conference was limited to vaccinated people only… oh wait…

The virus spreads from vaccinated or non-vaccinated people. The only thing the vaccine does is make the symptoms of the disease less. People have still died after getting Covid after they received the vaccine.
They aren’t learning anything down in Puerto Rico that couldn’t have been discussed here. The non-partisan orgs don’t bother anyone – the lobbyists are the issue! You know better than to play stupid.
To book a vacation with politicians from NY when there are so many poor and homeless families in this city is unacceptable. If you like that, maybe you are part of the entitled world!
Finally, you do realize that I am a registered Democrat, right?
I’m not a good Democrat by any means.I changed parties because I was going to vote for a man who planned to challenge Golden in a primary (the Democrats wouldn’t challenge him). I changed back to vote against Eric Adams because he has been terrible for Brooklyn. I am always Team Bay Ridge.
The real question is why do you keep reading this blog? There are plenty of liberals writing in Brooklyn.

Vaccinated people can still get and transfer covid-19. People who are vaccinated can still die from Covid-19, even after being vaccinated.
Just weeks ago, Brannan would not debate his opponent because he wanted people to be vaccinated to attend a debate – when they could have had the debate outdoors!
