Thorns FC midfielder Angela Salem was named to the NWSL Team of the Month for October, the league announced today. It is the third straight month that Salem has earned the honor.
The midfielder was heavily involved in the Thorns’ attack from the midfield throughout the month, helping the team close out the regular season by earning the team's second NWSL Shield before beginning their quest for a third NWSL Championship.
The NWSL Team of the Month is selected each month of the regular season by the NWSL Media Association, a collection of writers that cover the league on a consistent basis.
