Carole Radziwill Says She Changed Andy Cohen’s Life & Slams Him For Building Real Housewives Franchise “On The Backs Of Women”
Another day, another drama unfolding from the housewives book Not All Diamonds And Rosé by Dave Quinn! Unlike his usual careful, neutral position, Andy Cohen did not hold back in the new book, published by Andy Cohen Books. The daddy of housewives seemingly had a scolding to deliver regarding former Real Housewives of New York City star Carole Radziwill’s not so eloquent exit from the show.
In the excerpt, Andy explained his feelings regarding Carole exiting the show and proceeding to share on Instagram at the time, “If you were doing something that was forcing you to do things that went against your own value system would you walk away regardless of the pay.” Andy was personally offended, and the two had a falling out as a result. Some viewers, publicly took issue with Andy’s disgruntled position, initiating a response on Twitter from the princess herself.
A fan tweeted , in reference to Carole’s esteemed reputation, “I had changed her life Andy Cohen really thinks any of these housewives are indebted to him… PRINCESS Radziwill doesn’t need you, she has multiple Emmy’s and a Peabody. Pipe down! # RHONY @CaroleRadziwill @Andy.”
The tweet was delivered alongside a snapshot of the excerpt which read:” Cohen took umbrage at the instagram move ‘ Carole’s post basically implied that she was leaving a really toxic situation,’ he tells Quinn in the book, It really rubbed me the wrong way because I really felt like I had changed her life. Radziwill says in the book that ‘Andy went ballistic’- and she had to eventually tell him never to contact her again. ‘she is not the person I used to know,’ says Cohen.”
Carole replied to the fan, tweeting “Just another man telling a woman she ought to be more grateful. Housewives changed Andy Cohen’s life, not mine. And Bravo built a 100 million dollar franchise on the backs of women. Lets not get it twisted,” she ended it off with the 100 and strong arm emoji.RELATED: Real Housewives Tell-All Author Says Carole Radziwill Spilled The Most Tea
Fans were quick to chime in and voice their support for the RHONY alum. One tweeted in response, “ Carole is a strong woman that we appreciated getting to know,” to which Carole replied “Well, thank you.” Another account gave Carole props for her bravery, tweeting “I secretly envy your ability to tell it like it is, without any fear,” (heart emoji). Carole kept it real, replying “Well, a bit of hear but that’s how I know it needs to be said,” (heart emoji).
One social media user had an interesting financial take, noting : “I’m guessing all the women don’t get any royalties from the sales of RHONY to multiple streaming platforms either.” The tweet was accompanied by a GIF of Carole from the fiery season 10 reunion (and her last), telling Andy “You’re so full of sh–, Andy”.
Carole responded , “Good point. Unlike all other scripted television shows when the network sells the episodes over and over again for millions more in ad revenue, we get no additional fee or royalty.” She continued, “And our per episode fee is considerably less than scripted series,” she ended the thought with a couple of face palm emojis for emphasis.
Hell hath no fury like a past housewife scorned. Ironically however, the stir caused, will likely only contribute to fueling more sales for the housewives book published by Andy Cohen books. Sorry Carole !RELATED: Andy Cohen Says Carole Radziwill Is Not The Woman He Used To Know
