HURLEY, N.Y. —Ulster County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a collision between a log truck and a pickup truck towing a landscape trailer on Zandhoek Road Wednesday, Nov. 3,  shortly after noon. The collision briefly shut down Zandhoek Road between Hillside Avenue and Joys Lane, and left the driver of the pickup truck injured.

Deputies said Mobile Life ALS transported the driver of the pickup truck, who was not identified, to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital with unspecified injuries.

A preliminary investigation suggests the pickup truck crossed into the opposite lane and struck the log truck, deputies said. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Hurley Fire Department, Mobile Life, and the New York State Police.
