Kevin Durant was thrown out of the game between the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets on Sunday in Brooklyn.

Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Detroit Pistons on Sunday in Brooklyn 117-91, and advanced to 4-3 on the season.

As for the Pistons, they fell to 1-5.

Durant had 23 points, one rebound and five assists in 27 minutes, but was ejected from the game in the third quarter.

The clip of what got Durant ejected from the game can be seen in a tweet that is embedded below form ESPN's SportsCenter.

Durant ran into Kelly Olynyk and shoved him to the ground.

The referee on the P.A. announcer said: "Upon review the contact from Kevin Durant has been deemed unnecessary and excessive as a result a Flagrant 2 has been assessed. Kelly Olynyk will shoot two, and Kevin Durant has been ejected."

Fans booed at the announcement from the referee.

Even so, the Nets still held on and won the game, and James Harden had a triple-double scoring 18 points grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists.
