Subtropical storm Wanda is located over 900 hundred miles west of the Azores. Wanda is expected to move southeastward today then northeastward tonight. A turn toward the north is expected on Tuesday or Tuesday night. Otherwise, a broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands continues to produce disorganized shower activity. The chances of tropical cyclone development is low. There are no other tropical systems or any disturbed weather with the potential to become tropical systems across the Atlantic Basin. The Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean are quiet and expected to stay that way for the next several days.
