Sean McDonough has always had a unique perspective when it comes to his former Red Sox television broadcast partner Jerry Remy.
McDonough was able to share some of those stories and insight regarding Remy, who sadly passed away over the weekend when appearing on the Greg Hill Show Monday morning.
"I have worked with hundreds of analysts in all the different sports in all these places I’ve worked - I’ve kept a list and the last I looked there have been 160 different people - and nothing felt as special as the nine years I spent with Jerry," said McDonough, who worked with Remy for nine years. The longtime broadcaster added, "People knew he was real."
