Connauton (undisclosed) will not be available for Friday's game against Detroit, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Connauton will miss at least one game after suffering an injury in Wednesday's win over the Bruins. Markus Nutivaara will make his season debut in place of the injured 31-year-old. His next chance to play will be Saturday in Boston.
