Alaska Airlines to begin offering flight service at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Teasing a “significant announcement,” officials with the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport said a new airline company will soon be moving in.

Director Robert Kennedy said Alaska Airlines will be offering direct service to and from Seattle, Wash.

The nonstop flights between Cleveland and Seattle are expected to begin in June 2022.

Travelers are then able to arrange connecting flights to other destinations.

“Ohio is an economic powerhouse with a vibrant cultural and corporate scene that’s underserved and primed for growth as we emerge from the pandemic,” said Brett Catlin, vice president of network and alliances at Alaska Airlines. “Adding Cleveland to our network furthers our investment in the Buckeye State while adding an important nonstop link between Northeast Ohio and the Puget Sound.”
