Ko is one sweet, happy, unique dog.

She came to the shelter when her family could no longer care for her.

She’s a medium-sized mixed breed dog, about four years old and forty pounds. (She looks like a puggle mix – a beagle, pug, and who knows what else!)

We think Ko would do well with kids age five and up.

Ko recently represented the shelter at an event where she charmed everyone she met. She has a wonderful personality - active but not hyper, playful but not obsessive, great in the car, and easy to be with.

She can be demanding in one way; if she meets you, she’ll roll over and hope you’ll scratch her tummy!

If you’re looking for a happy companion who will put a smile on your face and a skip in your step, meet our girl, Ko.

REQUIREMENTS: In order to adopt, you must fill out an application, pay an adoption fee, and have your pets up to date on their rabies vaccines. All adopted cats and dogs are spayed or neutered before they go home.
