School cancellations in Massachusetts: List of schools closed on Thursday

As more than 326,000 customers in Massachusetts are without power for a second day, many schools have closed for the day on Thursday. 

The storm peaked early morning hours of Wednesday along the east coast of Massachusetts, according to the National Weather Service. Leaving must of the South Shore and Cape Cod with massive power outages due to the near hurricane-force winds. It is expected to be days before power is being restored.
