Huntington Station house late Wednesday night.
According to police, a group of people was in the garage of
a home on Murdoch Street when someone, who was
armed with a gun, walked up the driveway.
The occupants of the garage closed the door and a shot was
fired from the driveway, through the door, striking Louis Lombardo, officials
say.
Lombardo, 28, of Dix Hills, was transported to the hospital
where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime
Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
