LeBron James was out again on Wednesday as his Lakers embarrassingly blew a lead against the Thunder but he seemed unaffected on Twitter watching the Cavs.

For the second straight game, the Los Angeles Lakers were without LeBron James as the veteran continued to nurse a minor right ankle injury. But unlike Tuesday night when the Lakers clawed out a win over the Grizzlies, it was a different story against the Thunder, though it shouldn’t have been.

The Lakers were up 41-19 after the first quarter and seemed to be running away with it. Yet, thanks to a 10-turnover quadruple-double from Russell Westbrook, the Thunder were able to come back, take the lead, and complete the Lakers’ choke job with a big win.

Apparently, though, LeBron James didn’t let the loss linger or affect him. Soon after the bad loss for his team, he was tweeting about his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and a great play by Collin Sexton.

LeBron James doesn’t seem to be sweating the Lakers’ awful loss

To be clear, the play that James was reacting to was certainly impressive:

However, it’s not the best look for LeBron to be hyping up a player from his former team after such a disappointing and, frankly, embarrassing loss by the Lakers.

Granted, this isn’t the biggest of deals. Maybe James was trying to troll his Los Angeles rivals, the Clippers, by talking up the Cavs and Sexton dunking on them. Maybe he was just trying to move on quickly from the Lakers’ loss.

Whatever the case, though, you have to admit that the optics were a bit off with his tweet and the timing of it.
