Posted

AOY Art Center announce the opening of a new art exhibition featuring nine local artists.
The Members Spotlight Show includes some artists who are showing their work for the first time - but only for the next three weeks.
They include George Apotsos - Sculptural Ceramics; Harry Gamble - Photography; Elissa Goldberg - Pastels and Mixed Media; Tom Harwood - Oils; Marta Jaramillo - Landscapes; Mary Manahan - Watercolors and Oils; Helene Mazur - Oils; Pearl Mintzer - Oils and Acrylics; and John Shipley - Wood Carvings and Paintings. All will have 10 to 20 pieces in the show.
See their art and meet the artists in the AOY Gallery from Nov. 5 to 21, noon to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays or anytime online at aoyarts.org as of Nov. 5.
The opening reception is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday Nov. 5. There is lots of parking and the food and drink will be served outside on the porch. Masks are necessary inside to view the show.

All AOY Art Center shows are open to the public and there is no fee to visit the gallery.
Art purchases can be made online and AOY will make appointments for you to pick up the art at the center, curbside if desired. All art purchases need to be picked up by Nov. 23.
AOY Art Center is located at 949 Mirror Lake Road, just off the Route 295 and 332 interchange in Lower Makefield/Yardley in the historic 1837 Janney House on the Patterson Farm.
Most of the art is for sale and proceeds benefit the local artists and the AOY Art Center, a nonprofit local art organization.
