Warzone players call for devs to not remove Rebirth Island with Vanguard integration

Warzone players have been begging the developers at Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games to keep the Rebirth Island mode after Vanguard’s integration.

With Warzone now in Season 6, players have had a lot of time with the Rebirth Island mode, as it was released back in the first season of Black Ops Cold War‘s integration with the battle royale.

Players are fond of it, as some are even calling for the devs to keep it in the game even after Vanguard‘s release.

With Vanguard not too far out now, releasing November 5, players are anticipating the game’s integration into Warzone, which could happen just a couple of weeks after launch.

Of course, players are extremely excited about the new Pacific map, but at the same tie, some are worried that the Rebirth Island Alcatraz map and mode will be lost.

Reddit user BaconHamAndCheese12 put up a post recently expressing their worries about Rebirth Island continuing even after Vanguard’s release.

The player is passionate about the mode remaining in the game, as the caption reads: “When we get the new Pacific map and Vanguard is integrated, are we going to lose Rebirth Island?”

The post goes on to question whether the map will remain, or even if the Resurgence mode will get a new “smaller map” introduced along with Vanguard.

The user then states “I really don’t hope we lose Rebirth Island and Resurgence,” showing their love for both the map and mode. As the post asks whether or not there has been any information on this topic, sadly there has not, and it is unclear what will happen to the mode after Vanguard is integrated.

Many users in the comments also feel the same way, with one even saying: “I was genuinely concerned about this too and it’s a topic nobody seems to be talking about.”

We know many Warzone players absolutely love Rebirth Island and Resurgence, so we too hope that the mode and map returns, and if not the same, hopefully, a new variation of it.

Warzone could potentially lose a lot of its player base who love the mode, as some players exclusively play Rebirth Island due to its fun, intense gameplay.

We’ll have to see what happens when the devs comment on the topic, but for now, check out the current Warzone Season 6 meta.
