After the assault McCormick is accused of rubbing the child’s soiled underwear in her face and then using frozen hot dogs in an attempt to minimize the injuries sustained.

After learning more, police discovered that Taylor McCormick, 27, of Kiski Township, allegedly beat the girl for “being incontinent.” She has been charged with felony child endangerment, aggravated assault and a misdemeanor charge of simple assault.

Kenneth Hall Jr., 24, from Washington Township in Westmorland County lied to investigators and attempted to claim he injured the child in order to protect his girlfriend McCormick. He has been charged with felony child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of falsely reporting to law enforcement.

When Hall and McCormick arrived to the police station, McCormick was under the influence of marijuana as she smoked marijuana. McCormick will also be charged with Driving Under the Influence of marijuana.

Both were arraigned before Magistrate James Andring in Leechburg, PA and have a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at 1 p.m.
