Welcome to Wednesday, loyal readers. Here's what you need to know today.

Update on Folsom restaurant space

In June, I told you that a new concept would replace the short-lived Coyote Bar & Kitchen in Folsom. Bobby Coyote, who founded Dos Coyotes Border Cafe, was a partner in the eatery at 185 Placerville Road, Suite 150. Coyote told me in June that he was in the process of selling his shares in the concept to his business partner, who would open a new eatery at the Folsom space.

Update: The new business is moving forward. A sign at the space says a restaurant called Flock is coming soon. It includes a link to a website for Flock Pizza, which is not yet working. A representative for the new restaurant did not immediately respond to an email seeking additional details. Stay tuned.

Before it became Coyote Bar & Kitchen, the space was occupied by Broderick Roadhouse.

Speaking of Folsom ...

Matthews Real Estate Investment Services announced it brokered the sale of the store building at 4241 Marconi Ave. for $10.1 million earlier this month to a buyer from the Central Valley. Reporter Ben van der Meer has the story.
