HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) – A car was engulfed in flames late Wednesday morning County Route 64 in Horseheads.
The 2007 Chrysler Pacifica was adjacent to the Dandy gas station and temporarily closed traffic on the busy roadway.
The Big Flats Fire Department, Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police all responded to the fire. The Sheriff’s Office says the driver escaped uninjured.
Viewer videos and pictures show the car engulfed prior to first responders’ arrival on scene.
