Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania performed a healing ceremony at Temple’s Ambler campus

As Temple University’s Ambler campus recovers from the tornado that damaged multiple buildings in September, Ambler Arboretum welcomed the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania on October 21st for a special healing ceremony for the land and people who share a special connection to it.

Participating were Chief of Ceremonies Chuck “Gentle Moon” Demund, Storykeeper Adam Waterbear DePaul, and tribal drum the Itchy Dog Singers. The ceremony included drumming, storytelling, and a traditional friendship circle.
