Neymar Jr. wanted to play again with his former FC Barcelona teammate, Lionel Messi. This summer, the 29-year-old got his wish when Paris Saint-Germain signed with the capital club following his unexpected departure from FC Barcelona.

During an interview with Red Bull, Neymar expressed his joy to be playing with Messi. The Brazil international also added that he hopes that two can make history at PSG as they did during their time with the Spanish club as the two won a UEFA Champions League trophy.

“I am very happy to have Messi at PSG because, in addition to being a football idol, a crack, and a genius, he is my friend. When you have friends by your side, the day-to-day is calmer. I hope to do with him the history we did at Barcelona,” Neymar said.
