The All Hallows Call to Arms has returned to Red Dead Online just in time for Halloween, bringing "an eerie tinge to the atmosphere of the Wild West."

The Wild West just got a bit more frightening. Rockstar Games is bringing back some of the more beloved Halloween features to Red Dead Online, including double rewards, Call to Arms quests, gore-y masks, and delightful sweets. The Dead of Night mode has also returned, alongside access to the rumored Night Stalker Mask. With the Halloween Pass 2 right around the corner and a new week's worth of discounts, this holiday is shaping up to be one for the history books.

Here's what we know about Halloween in Red Dead Online.

What is Red Dead Online doing for Halloween?

All Hallows' Eve Call to Arms mode is here, pitting players against waves of alligators, cougars, ghastly spirits, and a haunted ghost train terrorizing the citizens of Armadillo and beyond. Players who take it upon themselves to protect Armadillo, Butcher Creek, Shady Belle, and Bolger Glade within the seasonal All Hallows' Eve mode will earn double the $RDO, experience, and gold bars. Those who survive the tenth round will earn an extra 2000 club experience toward the Halloween Pass 2.

Those who partake in the themed challenges this week, as well as the Dead of Night mode, will also benefit from double rewards. Making it through any Dead of Night combat will reward players with a free Ability Card reward.

Both Call to Arms and Dead of Night will have the Night Stalker Mask available—offering access to "supernatural powers and strengths beyond the limits of mere humanity."

Otherwise, players can visit Madam Nazar to pick up one of six available Halloween-themed masks and check their inventory for a set of rejuvenating sweets—10 Snowberger Candies and 5 Chocolate Bars.

Halloween Pass 2 Details

The Halloween Pass is also returning to Red Dead Online in its second iteration. Fans who purchased all four Quick Draw passes will have access to the Halloween Pass for free when it officially goes live on Oct. 28. Players will be able to unlock 15 tiers of "grim and gruesome rewards" including "new clothing items stained with the blood of past crimes, and accessories sure to inspire terror in your victims."

The pass will be available until Nov. 22. The official rewards have yet to be revealed by Rockstar at the time of writing.
