MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State will conclude its Big 12 schedule on Thursday night at 7 p.m., as the Wildcats host Iowa State at 7 p.m.The Wildcats will look to secure the program's first Big 12 Championship appearance.

• Thursday's match will be Senior Night, as the Wildcats will honor the contributions of its four seniors: Emily Crain, Brookelynn Entz, Taylor Gardner and Maguire Sullivan
• Tickets for Thursday's match can be purchased by contacting the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 221-CATS, visiting kstatesports.com/tickets or at the Buser Family Park ticket windows.
• In accordance with University policy, it is required that face coverings be worn in all indoor spaces of Buser Family Park, regardless of vaccination status, unless actively eating or drinking. In all outdoor spaces, face coverings are not required and are at the discretion of each patron.
• Thursday's match will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play) Oscar Montenegro (color analyst) and Kelsey Bigelow (sideline) will have the call.
• With a win on Thursday, K-State would set the school record for wins in a season. 

Last Time Out
• Last week, K-State (6-9-2, 1-5-2 Big 12) made a bid for its first win over a ranked opponent, but fell at 11th-ranked TCU on Friday, 3-2. 
• The Wildcats held their first lead over a ranked opponent, as K-State scored a pair of second half goals to build a 2-1 lead. The Horned Frogs answered with two goals in a two-minute span between the 65th and 68th minutes.
• K-State's two goals were scored by junior Marisa Weichel and senior Brookelynn Entz. Weichel notched her team-leading sixth goal of the season and her first in Big 12 action. Weichel also added an assist on Entz's goal, which improves her season point total to 13. Weichel's six goals and 13 points rank second in program history for goals and points in a season.
• Entz tallied her second goal of the season and her first in league action. The midfielder from Newton, Kansas, is the first Wildcat to register two or more goals in five straight seasons. With her 19th career goal, Entz surpassed the 50-point mark (51) for her career which improves upon her school career record for points.

Wildcats Set Single-Season Goals, Points Records
• K-State has registered 20 goals (1.18 goals/game) through 17 matches this season. With its 20 goals, K-State set the school record for goals in a season. 
• This season, the Wildcats set the school record for goals in non-conference play with 14.
• The 20 goals have been scored by 10 different players.
• The Wildcats have registered 60 total points (3.53 pts/game). The 60 points set the school record for points in a season. The mark for points per game is 2.89 in the 2020 season.

Firing Range
• K-State has been piling up shots in the 2021 season. The Wildcats are sixth in the Big 12 in total shots (235) and for shots per game (13.8).
• The Wildcats have five matches with 20 or more shots this season. Kansas State recorded a season-high 27 shots against UTRGV on Sept. 19, which is tied for second in program history for shots in a single-match and were the most since the Wildcats tallied 27 against Arkansas State on Aug. 29, 2019.
• The school record for total shots in a season is 276 set in 2019, while the shots per game mark stands at 15.3 also in 2019.

Cats Set Single-Season Assist Mark
• K-State has been helpful on its goals this season, as the Wildcats have set the single-season record for assists with 20  on their 20 goals. K-State has two unassisted goals this season. 
• K-State's 20 assists have come from 12 different players, which is a school record for players with an assist in a season.
• Earlier this season, Kansas State set the school record for assists in a match with six at Austin Peay on Aug. 27. In the same match, sophomore Maddie Weichel set the school record for assists in a match with three.

Defending the Second Half
• This season, Kansas State has been solid defensively in the second half of matches.
• The Wildcats have conceded seven goals in the second half and overtime this season. K-State has allowed five total second half and overtime goals in Big 12 action this season. 
• The school record for fewest goals allowed in a second half and overtime in a season is nine in the 2016 season.

K-State Posts Blank Scoresheets
• The Wildcats have tied the school record for shutouts in a season with six in 2021, which included a school-record shutout streak of 317:55. The Wildcats tied the school record for consecutive shutouts with three.
• In its six seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 30 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 22-0-8 in games allowing zero goals.
• Of the 30 shutouts in program history, two goalkeepers own 19 of them. Miranda Larkin set the school record for career shutouts with 10, while former goalkeeper Emma Malsy has the other nine.
• The active goalkeepers on the K-State roster - Rachel Harris, Peyton Pearson and Alaina Werremeyer - have tallied 11 shutouts in their K-State careers. Pearson and Werremeyer rank tied for third in school history for career shutouts with five, while Harris owns one.

The One Who Scores
• Joining the Wildcats this season, Marisa Weichel has been dynamic in her time with K-State.
• Weichel, a transfer from Texas Tech, leads the Wildcats this season in goals scored (6) and in game-winning goals (3). She is third on the team in shots on goal with 13.
• She ranks 65th in the nation for game-winning goals.
• With her goal total, the product of Papillion, Nebraska, has secured the school record for goals in a junior season. She is the second player in program history to score five or more goals in a season and is second for goals in a season.
• With her three game-winning goals this season, Weichel holds the single-season school record for game winners and is second in program history for career game-winning goals. 
• At Colorado State on Sept. 5, Weichel registered her first career multi-goal match as she scored two goals. She became the third player in program history to score two or more goals in a match and is tied for second in school history for career multi-goal matches.
• Weichel scored at least one goal in four of the first five weeks of the 2021 season. She is the first Wildcat to achieve this feat.
• Weichel's 13 points this season moves her into second in program history for points in a single season. She is the third player in school history to notch 10 or more points in a season. Her 13 points moved her into sixth for career points at K-State and she owns the school career record for points per game (0.76 ppg).

Entz Adds to Career Totals
• Senior forward/midfielder Brookelynn Entz is adding on to her impressive career resume at Kansas State.
• Entz, a 2021 Preseason All-Big 12 selection, registered her second goal of the season and her first in Big 12 action at TCU on Oct. 22. 
• This season, Entz is second on the team in total points (9) and has two goals and a team-high five assists. Her five assists tied the school record for assists in a season and are a new program record for assists in a senior season.
• She ranks tied for ninth in the Big 12 for assists and tied for tenth for assists per game (0.29).
• In her five seasons with the Wildcats, Entz owns or is tied for a combined 27 career, single season or match records in program history. (see bio on pg. 11 for list of records)
• Among her school career records, Entz owns the records for career goals (19), career assists (13) and career points (51). She is the first player in program history to score at least two or more goals in five consecutive seasons and the only player to notch 10 or more points in three of four seasons.

Loren Approaches Minutes Mark
• Junior defender Jesse Loren has been a staple along K-State's backline this season pacing the Wildcats in minutes played. 
• The product of Redondo Beach, California, has started all 17 matches and leads the Wildcats in minutes played with 1,460. With 40 minutes of action, Loren would become the fifth K-State field players to surpass the 1,500-minute mark in a season and the first since Avery Green in 2019 (1,581).
• Earlier this season, Loren recorded her first K-State goal during a win at Austin Peay on Aug. 27. Loren headed home the game-winning goal from 10 yards off a corner kick in the seventh minute. This was the first game-winning goal of Loren's career. 
• For her efforts in helping K-State to a pair of shutout wins, Loren was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week for Aug. 31.
• Loren, a transfer from Colorado, owns three career collegiate goals which includes two during her time in Boulder.
