Odessa Young returned to Savannah for the SCAD Savannah Film Festival as a Discovery Award honoree for her role in “Mothering Sunday.”

Odessa started acting at 11 and shared some advice to SCAD students who may be hoping to make it into the film industry. She talked about her favorite parts of Savannah and its culture and how she prepared for the role of Jane Fairchild in "Mothering Sunday."

The SCAD Savannah Film Festival runs from Oct. 23 through Oct. 30 in downtown Savannah, Georgia.
