Thor and Spider-Man Make Surprise Cameo in New Eternals Teaser

The premiere of Eternals is almost here and we're getting more teasers with new footage. Interestingly, the latest TV spot features a couple of unexpected characters. Thor and Spider-Man have just shown up in the new teaser. So does this mean they will show up in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick?

The new Eternals TV spot was shared by the official Marvel Studios Twitter account and it features the characters comparing themselves to the Avengers. Kingo points out that the Avengers have Thor and Spider-Man but the Eternals have Thena.

We get more awesome footage of Angelina Jolie in action. It pretty much confirms that she is just as good a warrior as Thor and Spider-Man, and maybe she's even better. With that in mind, we can't wait to see her going up against the Deviants this November.

We're loving how Thor and Spider-Man are in the teaser but are they going to be in Eternals? It seems unlikely since the footage is from the older MCU flicks. However, there is a good chance that they and the other Avengers will be referenced in the movie.

That's not the only time that the Avengers were referenced in the teaser. At one point, Ikaris says, "Eternals Assemble." The impressed Kingo then says it's "a great line."

These are all awesome references to the MCU and there is little doubt there will be more in the movie itself. Needless to say, we can't wait to see the film in theaters next month.

Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao and also stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, and Salma Hayek. The film, which has been delayed repeatedly in the past, is finally set to hit theaters on November 5, 2021.
