Australian actress Ruby Rose has doubled down on her claims alleging misconduct on the ‘Batwoman’ TV set by releasing damning emails.

Rose parted ways with the CW show in May last year, with media reports suggesting the decision was mutual. The reports insinuated that the actress wasn’t happy on the show, and projected this attitude on her colleagues.

Last week, Rose finally came forward and defended herself against these claims in a series of Instagram posts. She also claimed that there were unsafe practices on set and that she witnessed a crew member get third-degree burns, amongst other claims.

In 2019, Rose underwent emergency surgery on two herniated discs after injuring herself doing stunts on the Batwoman set. In last week’s set of Instagram posts, Rose shared a video of a doctor detailing the injuries sustained in her X-rays, and a video of her surgery.

The actress claims that she was told that if she did not return to work ten days after the surgery “the whole crew and cast would be fired.” She also alleges to have been told that by sustaining the injury on set, she’d “let everyone down” and “lost the studio millions.”

Rose backed up this claim yesterday in a screenshot of an email she sent to her manager. “I’m so close to be done with this show. Between the atmos, the b.s., the investigation/surgery.. I’m really about to walk.”

She wrote a caption on the screenshot that read, “I won’t take crumbs. Do better, use this situation as a way to change the industry and the world. But keep up the smear campaign because it only fires me up to continue this when that’s the last thing I want.”

The actress clarified further in another email screenshot that said she wanted to walk off the set until she could “get her breath”. She named showrunner Caroline Dries as part of the problem.

“I meant walk until I can get my breath and have a talk with SAG and or Greg and just everyone except maybe Caroline to work this whole thing out.

“I don’t know about walking away from the show for good maybe I want to, but I fear huge consequences.”

Rose caption this email screenshot with, “This isn’t even in the report.. just reminding you I’m still here… and you have an opportunity to change things.”

Both emails were dated 26th February 2021.

Ruby continued to post exchanges between her and her manager, that detailed an “absolutely catastrophic” night on set.

“It’s stressful and hard enough on the crew and actors pulling all nighters and 16 hour days and 14 hour camera days without people losing their temper and getting aggressive,” part of the email read.

Rose wrapped up her explosive claims with a text IG story that alleged Dries was “monetizing gays”.

“Off to bed, but deciding between releasing Caroline’s email about not being an LGBT activist or feminist… [But saying she could be one for others during the show].
