LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) —
The Benton School Board decided Monday to fire Superintendent Dr. Mike Skelton.

In a statement, the board said that they decided to go with a "different leadership direction."
School officials said that Dr. Kim Anderson will serve as interim superintendent.
