Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has revealed what's coming up next for Gabby Thomas following her secret escape plan this week.
Following the apparent death of her baby's father, Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln), pregnant Gabby (Rosie Bentham) has become increasingly desperate to get away from his mother, Kim Tate (Claire King), who has been trying to get too involved in her unborn grandchild's life.
This week, irritated Gabby snaps at Kim and tells her that she won't be a part of her baby's life, before telling her grandmother Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) that they need to push forward their plan to leave the village.

Unfortunately for Gabby, while she's packing up her things to flee from Home Farm, she suddenly goes into labour whilst alone in the house during a power cut, with no charge in her phone.
Emmerdale's executive producer, Jane Hudson, has told Inside Soap that Gabby will soon be forced to reconcile with the fact that Kim is her baby's grandmother, whether she likes it or not...
"Gabby decides to stay at Home Farm and bring up her son, Thomas, but she's wary of Kim's true intentions," Jane said, revealing that Gabby will be sticking around in the village after all.
But with protective and manipulative Kim around, will Gabby end up regretting bringing up her baby son around her?

Gabby isn't the only person at Home Farm feeling trapped by Kim, as Kim also has Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) right where she wants him.
After Will recently confessed to Kim that he buried Detective Malone's body on her land, Kim is using his terrible secret to her advantage – and Jane has teased that things are only going to get worse.
"Kim has a surprise in store for Will that he'll never forget," she said – but what could Kim have planned for Will?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
