Off-duty NYPD officer charged with punching boyfriend during dispute on Queens street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials arrested an off-duty NYPD officer early Tuesday accused of punching his boyfriend during a dispute on a Queens street, authorities said.

Officer Ashley Pubill, 40, and his boyfriend were arguing near the corner of 91st St. and 31st Ave. in Jackson Heights at about 2:50 a.m., police said.

According to officials, Pubill then allegedly punched his boyfriend in the face who refused medical attention at the scene.

Pubill was arrested and charged with assault and harassment.

His arraignment at Queens Criminal Court was pending Tuesday.
