Chicago Med: SPOILER set to return in Nov. 3 episode

If there is one thing that Chicago Med season 7 hasn’t been lacking it’s been incredible new cast additions.

The casting of Kristen Hager and Guy Lockard as Dr. Stevie Hammer and Dr. Dylan Scott has been one of the show’s best moves to date as the pair have given new life to the show with Dylan and Stevie bringing so much heart to the season.

Then there have been the additions of guest actors such as Michael Rady as Dr. Matt Cooper and Sarah Rafferty as Dr. Pamela Blake, whose introductions have led to some incredible new storylines for the show’s returning cast.

While these new additions have helped to inject new life into the series, the recent departures of several members of the original cast have still been felt across the season and understandably so. Although the exits of Natalie (Torrey DeVitto) and April (Yaya DaCosta) are ones that will stick, there is one original cast member who is finally making a comeback: Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee).

When is Ethan coming back to Chicago Med?

After missing the first six episodes of season 7, Brian Tee will finally return as Ethan in the upcoming seventh episode of Chicago Med which is set to air on Wednesday, Nov. 3! That’s right, Ethan is finally set to make his way back to Med after being sidelined this season following his brush with death in the season 6 finale.

As the synopsis for episode 7, “A Square Peg In a Round Hole,” teases, Ethan will finally be returning to our screens with his recovery progressing nicely setting the stage for his return to the ED.

His return is sure to stir the pot at Med as we don’t anticipate Dean (Steven Weber) will be too happy about having to turn the ED back over to Ethan. It will also be interesting to see how Ethan connects with the hospital’s new doctors and what type of rapport he builds with them.

Fortunately, we don’t have long to wait until we get to see these storylines play out now that Tee’s return date has been set!
