I don’t mind the character, and I am looking forward to her scenes with lovely Janine, just to see the latter wipe the smirk of Stacey’s face; simply with her presence, but I’m dreading, the idea they’ve turned Stacey bisexual, and have had her marry a woman, inside.

From past memory I find her draining to watch despite the actress being amazing.
I don't think she is bisexual and it is some form of scam.
However many ladies and men discover their sexuality might be changing. Prison always is likely a factor so I wouldn't fear it if it happened.
Admittedly not that I would be watching regardless lol.

I liked it so far. It was fairly quiet this time, as opposed to last time which was ridiculous, Stacey rolling up in a fancy never seen again car and striding in with her sunglasses.......

I'm interested to see where this is going. Not sure how I feel about Stacey being turned bi, if that is what this will turn out to be, going to wait to see what happens.

I'm glad her and Martin aren't getting back together, and it's hard to feel sorry for Martin getting knocked back by Stacey, given that he sacrificed his pregnant wife to put all his eggs in the Slater basket, which I predicted wasn't going to end well for him, and I was right. Martin needs a storyline of his own, that isn't about him being trodden on by a woman, where James Bye can show what a great actor he is.

As a side note, what is it about Martin that turns women to lesbianism?

Are we referring to sexy Sonia, and her forgotten dash of bisexuality? Maybe Sonia and Stacey could get it on, just to get back at Martin. What if Stacey got married to Ruby in prison, and now has all the money from Ruby and Martin’s joint bank account 😂😂?

    I love having her back.

I'm puzzled as to when Martin realized he's still in love with her. Was it when he was still with his third wife ? Talk about fickle..

I'm hoping for a Stacey/Kheerat relationship...at least he has more than two brain cells. He's quite decorative as well 😊

I know Sonia's meant to be bisexual, but she only ever seems to end up with a woman when she's got a husband to cheat on :D

I'm pretty sure Ruby has all the money now. She's rich enough to have hired a good solicitor and someone to oversee her finances whilst she is in prison. That person is probably the one who moved all the money into Ruby's account and sold her house and got Dotty to clear it out - it isn't Dotty, because if Dotty was in charge of Ruby's money she wouldn't need to go through with the scam.

It’s great having Stacey back but it’s inevitable that her and Martin will get back together one day. It will probably be a while but they are ‘meant to be’.

Stacey should never forgive Ruby when she’s back next year. Their friendship cannot be repaired after everything Ruby has done to her and the Slaters.

Lacey is an incredible actress IMO. But Stacey is such an unlikable character that it's not that great her being back.

Also this story that she's suddenly bisexual is just beyond ridiculous.

To be fair, I think Ruby will never forgive Stacey or the Slaters either, so I am interested to see what happens when Louisa does return - I'm praying they don't just kick off the feud again or just have everything go back to normal with them being best mates.

Lacey is a good soap actor but Stacey is such a horrible, twisted, miserable black hole of a character that my heart sinks to see her back.

The character is awful, unbearable and horrible to watch. I don’t know why everyone goes on about what a good actor she is, she’s hardly alone in that. Maybe it’s because it is her only saving grace. The character otherwise is dire and well passed her sell by date.

I agree with the others that Stacey is a horribly unlikeable character with no redeeming features. Am for one am not glad she's back.

I laughed at her welcome home party, Jean had hired the restaurant for it and yet there were less people in attendance than the amount of people who live in Stacey's house. They might as well have just done it at home.

    I adore Stace ❤️
I can see why some people don’t like her gob and sometimes selfish ways but she’s so much better to watch than people like Dotty, Keegan, Karen, Bernadette, Mitch, Bailey, Tiffany, Iqra, Mila, Honey, Suki, Vinny, Ash, Peter, Dana & Harvey.
I dislike Gray, Kat, Phil, Ben & Callum but I’ll be the first to admit that they’re far more interesting than the names above.

Nope, Stacey is vile and I haven't liked her character since her debut in 2004.

Lacey is a great actress though.

😂😂I know! My heart sinks a bit now when there’s talk of a party because you know with the never ending social distancing that it’s going to be people stood miles apart from each other - so why do they bother?

I mean look at the “party” for Johnny in the Rovers yesterday, with just 4 people there and Kirk inexplicably started “dancing” like Neil from inbetweeners. Oh god I’ve actually just gone red with embarrassment just at the memory of it😱😱
