It's been a few weeks since we said goodbye to Berries and Cream TikTok (RIP), and already a new sound has taken its place. ICYMI, an iconic clip of Sarah Paulson from the second season of American Horror Story: Asylum, has been doing the rounds on the social media platform. Some clever TikTokers have even turned the sound into a bit of a party track – and yes, it's very catchy.
Now Sarah herself is getting involved too, along with Lizzo who, as we already know, is no stranger to hopping on a TikTok trend. Sharing not one, but two videos with Lizzo's 19.2 million TikTok followers, the pair mouthed the line: "Help, he's escaping, the killer is escaping, help me!" In the first clip, the 33-year-old singer and 46-year-old actor went v over-the-top for their recital, and in the second they played it cool.
The clips clearly went down a treat and have already racked up over 22 million views as well as plenty of comments from fans. "I definitely wasn't prepared for this," said one TikToker, with another commenting "So iconic." Another person said "Am I dreaming?" as a fourth user wrote "Lizzo just won this challenge."
Despite not having TikTok herself, AHS star Sarah shared her thoughts on the trend during an Instagram Live with fellow actor Leslie Grossman. "They don't know it's me, they just know... they just know that there's some weird chick saying 'the killer is escaping'," she told Leslie.
