William Donaghy, 62, of Philadelphia was fatally injured when he was ejected from a pickup truck that ran off the Atlantic City Expressway in Winslow on Oct. 20, according to New Jersey State Police.

Donaghy's vehicle veered off the left side of the highway near milepost 33.1 around 12:55 p.m., a police account said. The truck re-entered the road, ran off the right side, struck a guardrail and overturned.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Separately, one person died in a motor vehicle accident on Sykesville Road in Chesterfield. That accident occurred around 11 a.m., police said.

A person also died in an accident around 2:10 p.m. Saturday on County Highway 581 in South Harrison.

Additional details about the Chesterfield and South Harrison incidents were not immediately available.

In Maple Shade, a pedestrian was critically injured on Saturday while trying to cross Route 38 near Lenola Road.

The victim was struck by a motorist near a Wawa on the eastbound highway around 10:10 p.m., according to Maple Shade Police.

Police did not identify the pedestrian, who was reported in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital, Camden.
