NODAWAY COUNTY—A Missouri man was injured in an accident just after 2p.m. Monday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Johah P. Long, 22, Clarinda, Iowa, was eastbound on Route A attempting to turn left on Linn Street.
The driver failed to yield and the pickup struck a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Leland L. Lane, 60, Graham. The Pontiac came to rest in a yard south of Route A.
Nodaway County ambulance transported Lane to Mosaic Life Care. Long was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
